Responsibilities:

  • To conduct research for exhibitions and programmes
  • To provide research services as required including conducting oral history and preparing research reports.
  • To prepare Chinese and English documents including meeting agenda, minutes, reports, work schedules and presentations with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • To liaise and coordinate with project partner for organizing projects.
  • To follow up logistics to ensure smooth running of the programmes.
  • To provide bilingual write-ups, English-Chinese or Chinese-English translation and editing.
  • To prepare simple designs and drawings with AI and Photoshop.
  • To prepare publicity materials for various e-channels and printed media; monitor office Facebook, Instagram and other social media account when required.
  • To provide simple photo taking, video shooting and editing for artworks and art projects.
Qualification:
  • A bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong university, majoring in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Cultural Management, Museum Studies or equivalent
  • Work experience: 1 – 2 year of relevant full-time working experience in museum or cultural institute; and proven experience in conducting research in preferable.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge in computer applications, including MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing, knowledge in AI and Photoshop will be an advantage.
